Operations Manager

Steve Yates is our Senior Operations Manager, with full responsibility for leading the company’s business-to-consumer, overseeing and optimizing the production process within our manufacturing facilities.

Steve is a resourceful, seasoned Operations Executive, Leader and Strategist. With 33 years+ experience within the automotive, manufacturing, facilities, and health & safety arena. He is expert in business communication, cap-ex projects, modern manufacturing and implementing change to build Right-First-Time manufacturing systems leading to growth and profitability.

During his time at Stechford Mouldings, Steve has played a critical role in successfully growing and diversifying the customer base, expanded the company’s portfolio facilitating our new business premises, as well as the acquisition of a tool making business marking a significant milestone in our journey, representing a commitment to growth, innovation, and an enhanced working environment for all.

Quality Manager

Phil Carr is our Quality Manager, responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance framework, ensuring that products meet and exceed the customers’ expectations.

Phil is a professional in quality management with a career spanning more than 30 years. With experience in both ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, Phils leadership style of meticulousness and approachability has fostered a culture of continuous improvement within the quality control team.

Whilst at Stechford Mouldings, Phil has led the integration of cutting-edge technologies and lean six sigma methodology into quality control processes. This has not only streamlined processes but also contributed to a notable reduction on defects and enhanced overall operational efficiency. Phils dedication to excellence and passion for quality assurance make him an integral part of Stechford Mouldings’ success story.

Senior Sales & Purchasing Manager

Joe Watkins is our Senior Sales and Purchasing Manager. He is responsible for material procurement and is the main point of contact for our existing customer base and any new enquiries.

With 10 years’ experience in our sales and purchasing team, Joe is an expert in Stechford’s moulding excellence. He’s an innovative problem-solver, well-versed in sourcing the best materials to satisfy our customers. He works closely with our production teams to ensure customer demands are consistently met and their expectations exceeded.

Production Manager

Mark Bennett is our Production Manager, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality and timely delivery of products.

Mark has a career spanning more than 30 years in the Automotive Industry with over 18 years in Injection Moulding.

Marks leadership, problem solving and organisational skills have been critical in moving Stechford Mouldings forward.

The meticulous planning and scheduling have helped streamline the business while optimising processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring the highest quality standards are adhered to, this making Mark an integral part of Stechford Mouldings team.

Assistant Production Manager

Anna Sankowska is our Assistant Production Manager, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in the automotive and plastics moulding sectors. Having progressed from the shop floor into a leadership role, Anna offers a deep, hands-on understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, supervision, and team coordination.

Her practical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills play a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production across our operations. Committed to continuous improvement, Anna excels at optimising workflows, mentoring teams, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Anna’s ability to lead by example, combined with her technical expertise, makes her a vital part of the Stechford team, driving both productivity and operational excellence. Since joining Stechford Mouldings in 2023, she has quickly become a valued and respected leader and is enjoying the collaborative spirit of our production team.

Quality Assurance Engineer

With over eight years of experience in quality assurance and process control, Mason Yates plays a key role in ensuring the high standards that Stechford Mouldings is known for. His expertise spans a broad range of quality systems, including ISO 9001, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance in precision manufacturing environments.

Mason is highly skilled in root cause analysis, internal auditing, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to drive measurable improvements in product consistency and customer satisfaction. He works closely with cross-functional teams, supporting production, engineering, and client-facing functions to ensure all products meet strict technical and regulatory requirements.

Detail-oriented and proactive, Mason brings a practical approach to quality, underpinned by a deep understanding of both thermoset and thermoplastic moulding processes. His commitment to data-driven decision-making and process optimisation helps maintain Stechford’s reputation for excellence in every component we deliver.

Sales & Purchasing Coordinator

Tom Rathbone is our Sales and Purchasing Coordinator. He is the main point of contact for our customers and liaises and expedites with suppliers and our manufacturing team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and agreed lead times are met.

Tom’s vast experience in sales and procurement, together with being proactive and having a professional attitude, delivers a high level of customer service for all our clients.
